Monterey, California

I know. It’s overrun with tourists. Especially on Saturdays. But, if that’s the only thing you know about Monterey, then you need to take a deeper look. That little town has a lot to offer. It’s beautiful, historic, friendly and romantically foggy.

Not sold yet? I have one more word for you: Steinbeck. Ring a bell? One of the great American writers? Cannery Row?
